Every engagement starts with an ambition or a problem, driven by the owner or founders from their own experience and conviction. Our first job is to define it precisely.
Insights
Conviction
Conviction is worth acting on once it becomes an insight backed by data. We collect the raw data behind it and sanitise the source, the method and the recording system at the point of collection, because collection is where inaccuracy creeps in.
Data
Reality Check
Data becomes information when it is processed, organised and put in context. We sort and categorise it, analyse it for the patterns and trends that answer who, what, why, where and when, and relate it to your specific business so you can make informed choices.
Information
Testing
Information becomes knowledge when a human mind absorbs, understands and applies it. We work through it with your team, place it in the context of your existing frameworks and history, and validate it for accuracy and trustworthiness before anyone acts on it.
Wisdom
Understanding
Wisdom becomes a practical thesis through model building: assumptions, cost projections and a revenue and profit and loss estimate, applied to the stated problem or opportunity. Models and frameworks must result in pilots and A/B tests.
Thesis
Building
Pilots are set up for success, with every resource provided to prove the thesis. Each is tested over time until the results validate it to a satisfactory level of significance, then thoroughly scrubbed, and either modified for a commercial launch or abandoned.

The PDCA cycle sets in. Real-time data tells the truth against the thesis, so raw data is captured, cleaned and tabulated as it happens, formatted for accurate analysis, and drilled into quickly and constantly.

Reality Check
Reading the data correctly and honestly leads to the correct conclusions. Analytical capability is crucial, drilling down quickly and constantly, and intellectual honesty in the analysis is what reveals the real situation.

Course correction where necessary is imperative. Before changing the alignment we assess whether the current one has had time to plateau and whether time alone would self-correct. Premature correction must be avoided, because some lead indicators take time to fructify.
