How a fictional food distribution cooperative created a clearer rhythm for making and delivering decisions.
Riverglass Cooperative is a fictional regional food distributor whose member warehouses had developed their own ways of planning deliveries, resolving exceptions, and serving local partners. The approaches worked well in isolation, but the network made the same decisions several times and struggled to see which work mattered most.
We followed a live planning cycle from a customer request to a completed delivery, listening for the moments where ownership changed hands or a local workaround became a network problem. Leaders and warehouse teams then designed a small operating rhythm around the decisions that needed shared visibility.
In this fictional scenario, the new rhythm gave Riverglass teams one shared view of priorities and a practical route for resolving cross-warehouse issues. Managers could spend less time reconciling local plans and more time helping teams make the next good decision.

The change was small enough to use on a busy Tuesday, and clear enough that every site could see where it fit.
